Autism Awareness

According to Autism Speaks Canada, 1 in 66 children in Canada are diagnose with Autism every year. That’s a LOT of people.

I highly recommend you take a few minutes to watch this video to better understand the differences and challenges faced by many of those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (“ASD”). If we make the effort to understand our differences we can better connect with, respect and support each other.

Learn more about Autism Awareness month, (which is April in Canada), and find inspiring stories from people on the spectrum here.

Here are some great resources and info from Autism Calgary for children and adults on the spectrum.

And of course, you’re welcome to download my free colouring page. It’s a fun, positive way to help raise awareness and open discussions about Autism!
