A Sugar Skull for Cinco de Mayo!Â
Cinco de Mayo, (“May 5th” in Spanish), is a Mexican celebration in remembrance of the Battle of Peubla on May 5, 1862 (learn more about it here). However, outside of Mexico it’s often considered to be a lively celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.Â
Do you have Mexican family or friends? Make sure you wish them a happy Cinco de Mayo! This is also a great time to ask them about their culture and learn more about their rich heritage. Â
