Art Camp – Ages 7 to 12!

Join one of our full day week long art camps for some wildly creative fun!

Be curious. Be creative. Be INSPIRED!

Do you ever want to make something… but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’re worried about making mistakes?

In art camp we have FUN with art! We experiment with different supplies and find new ways to use them. You will gain confidence so you can be more creative at home. This is your chance to use your imagination, learn new things and discover new ways to make art!

WHAT WILL WE DO?
Tie die t-shirts, abstract painting with strange supplies, make slime, experiment with shrink plastic (it’s SO awesome!), learn to safely use a glue gun and make cool things with it. Plus, you’ll have the chance to use clay, have free time, play outside and so much more!

Then… we’ll have a PAINT WAR and SPRAY PARK PARTY on our last day! (Weather permitting).

WHAT TO BRING?

• All art supplies are included in your fees! 
• Lunch, snacks & water bottle. A sink, fridge and microwave are available.
• Clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Most supplies we use will be washable but it’s possible we may get messy and even stained.
• Sunscreen, bug spray and a hat.

OPTIONS [Please only choose one camp for each child. Multiple weeks are welcome for the Jr. Camps, though (ages 4-6)!]: 

• Week 1: July 18-22
• Week 2: July 25-29
• Week 3: Aug. 15-19

TIMES:
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri.

LOCATION:
Sheep Creek Arts Council (SCAC), 133 Sunset Blvd., Turner Valley (Walking distance to the pool, spray park and library!)

REGISTRATION FORM:
After your purchase you will be sent a link within 48 hours to complete a registration form and waiver.

SUBSIDIZED FEES (limited quantity) are generously sponsored by the Sheep Creek Arts Council for low in come families in Turner Valley, Black Diamond and rural Foothills. They cover 80% of your camp fees, to a maximum of $200/child. You will be responsible to pay the remaining fee amount. If you are concerned that you don’t quite qualify for the subsidy but cannot afford camp please contact Crystal at crystal@artwithcrystal.com. SPECIAL SUPPORT:
We do our best to accommodate a range of needs, within our instructors’ abilities, to allow children to have the most positive, successful week possible. If your child requires special support please contact Crystal at crystal@artwithcrystal.com to discuss whether we are able to provide the proper support needed.

SCAC MEMBERSHIP:
Students must be Sheep Creek Arts Council (SCAC) members. The cost is $10 for the calendar year and is included in the camp fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A $15.00 administration fee will apply to all cancellations.  Full refund (minus admin fee) 14 days prior to camp start date.  No refund within 7 days prior to camp start date (unless child’s spot can be filled).
