Jr. Art Camp – Ages 4 to 6!

Does your child LOVE getting messy, being creative, exploring art, playing outside, and having fun? This camp is for them!

WHAT WILL WE DO?
At Jr. Art Camp you’ll do a ton of fun artsy things like… play with paint, chalk, magical puffy paint (which you’ll MAKE), plasticine, use a SQUIRT GUN full of paint to make your own crazy coloured shirt to keep… and so much MORE!

You’ll spend lots of time outside, too! You’ll play games, make things, go to an awesome local park AND… play at the spray park! You’ll even join the big kid art camp at the very end for a special fun in the sun party.

DO YOU HAVE MORE CREATIVE KIDS?
Jr. Art Camp is just down the street from the art camps for 7-12 year olds and teens. This is a great way for younger siblings to attend camp at the same time as their older brothers or sisters.

WHO WILL THE INSTRUCTOR BE?
We’re SO excited to announce that the lead instructor will be the very fabulous Jen Lehner! Miss Jen is famous around here for being wonderfully creative, playful, and having a huge heart for kids. She has been in the childcare industry for many years including helping to organize and instruct other local summer camps. She is AWESOME. Miss Jen will have a fabulous assistant each week as well so get ready for some fun!

WHAT TO BRING?

• Lunch, snacks & water bottle.
• Clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Most supplies we use will be washable but it’s possible we may get messy and even stained.
• Sunscreen and a hat.
• All art supplies are included in your fees!

OPTIONS: You’re welcome to join as many as you’d like!

• Week 1: July 11-15
• Week 2: July 18-22
• Week 3: July 25-29
• Week 4: Aug. 2-5 (short week – Tues-Fri)
• Week 5: Aug. 8-12
• Week 6: Aug. 15-19

TIMES:
9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri. (Aug. 2-5 is Tues-Fri)

LOCATION:
Sheep River Library, Turner Valley (Walking distance to the pool and spray park!)

DISCOUNT for FAMILIES or MULTIPLE WEEKS:

SUBSIDIZED FEES (limited quantity) are generously sponsored by the Sheep Creek Arts Council for low in come families in Turner Valley, Black Diamond and rural Foothills. They cover 80% of your camp fees, to a maximum of $200/child. You will be responsible to pay the remaining fee amount. If you are concerned that you don’t quite qualify for the subsidy but cannot afford camp please contact Crystal at crystal@artwithcrystal.com. SPECIAL SUPPORT:
We do our best to accommodate a range of needs, within our instructors’ abilities, to allow children to have the most positive, successful week possible. If your child requires special support please contact Crystal at crystal@artwithcrystal.com to discuss whether we are able to provide the proper support needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A $15.00 administration fee will apply to all cancellations.  Full refund (minus admin fee) 14 days prior to camp start date.  No refund within 7 days prior to camp start date (unless child’s spot can be filled).
